Some circumcised males feel that they want to replace there foreskin. During a normal circumcision at infancy the foreskin is ripped from the glans and excised. It is not uncommon in infant circumcision for up to 80% of the total penile to be removed. Circumcision has been practiced by many religions for hundreds of years. Also, for medical reasons, the operation is very occasionally required to be performed on young boys and in the early days of manhood.
