About Circumcision
About 15% of the world's male population have been circumcised. Some circumcised males feel that they want to replace there foreskin. During a normal circumcision at infancy the foreskin is ripped from the glans and excised. It is not uncommon in infant circumcision for up to 80% of the total penile to be removed. Having too much skin removed is just one of a number of serious complications and disfigurements that can effect a man in later life. Please see our LINKS and NEWS page for more details.
Circumcision has been practiced by many religions for hundreds of years. Also, for medical reasons, the operation is very occasionally required to be performed on young boys and in the early days of manhood.
